Amon Amarth je švédská melodic death metalová kapela založená roku 1992. Jméno své se odvozuje od Sindarina jména Dooms Mount ze Tolkienovy Zeměříše, kde bandu inspiruje vikinská mytologie a historie, což jí vyneslo označení "vikinské metal".
