Anthrax je thrash metalová kapela z New York City, New York, Spojené státy, založená Scott Ianem a Danny Lilkrem v roce 1981. Původně hráli sólovou kytaru, ale po beberapa změnách ve složení Lilker přešel na baskytaru.
