Kaleo ist eine Blues-Rock-Quartett, das 2012 in Mosfellsbær, Island, nahe Reykjavík gegründet wurde. Die Band zog 2015 nach Austin, Texas, Usa, nachdem sie von einem amerikanischen Label unter Vertrag genommen worden war. Mit einer einzigartigen Mischung aus Indie-Rock- und Folk-Einflüssen hat Kaleo seit ihrer Gründung Wellen in der Musikszene geschlagen. Die Besetzung des Ensembles besteht aus Jökull Júlíusson am Gesang und Gitarr, Davíð Antonsson an Schlagzeug und Gesang, Daníel Ægir Kristjánsson an Bass und Rubin Pollock an Lead-Gitarre.
