Wolf Alice sind ein englischer Rock-Band aus London. Gegründet wurde die Band im Jahr 2010 als akustisches Duo bestehend aus Sängerin Ellie Rowsell und Gitarrist Joff Oddie, die sich später um Schlagzeuger Joel Amey und Bassisten Theo Ellis erweiterten, seit 2012. Nachdem sie ihr erstes Konzert am Highbury Garage im Dezember 2010 unterstützt hatten, April in the Shade, veröffentlichten sie ihr Debüt-Single "Fluffy" im Februar 2013, gefolgt von "Bros" im Mai. Wolf Alice gingen dann daran, ihr Debüt-EP Blush im Oktober und sein Nachfolger Creature Songs im Mai 2014 zu veröffentlichen. Im Februar 2015 veröffentlichten die Band den Lead-Single "Giant Peach" von ihrem Debüt-Album My Love Is Cool, das im Juni jenes Jahres erschien. Ihr zweites Studio-Album Visions of a Life kam im September 2017 raus, debütierte auf Platz 2 der UK-Alben-Charts und erhielt allgemeine Kritik. Als eines der besten Alben des Jahres wurde es von mehreren Publikationen gezeichnet, gewann schließlich den Mercury-Preis 2018. Die Band veröffentlichte ihr drittes Studio-Album Blue Weekend im Juni 2021, erhielt universelle Anerkennung und wurde ihr erstes UK-No.1-Album. Wolf Alice gewann den Brit-Award 2022 für das beste britische Band und veröffentlichte ihr viertes Album, The Clearing, im August 2025, auch erreichte die Charts-Top.
