About Pianos
Pianos is a live music venue in New York. The nearest subway stations are Delancey St–Essex St and 2 Av, each about five minutes' walk away. The building is a two-story bar and restaurant as well as a music venue. It has two stages: one upstairs in a lounge-like setting and one in a back room off the main floor.
Pianos has operated since 2002, taking its name and sign from the piano store that previously occupied the space. Nightly concerts are held in the live music room, drawing a wide variety of artists including acts such as Lady Gaga and PJ Harvey. The stage attracts alternative rock groups and DJs, with acts such as Nick Hadad & Jackson Walker having performed there.
