Babymetal è un'orchestra giapponese kawaii metal formata a Tokyo nel 2010. Consiste di Suzuka Nakamoto come "Su-metal" (vocali guida, danza), Moa Kikuchi come "Moametal" (cori di background, danza) e Momoko Okazaki come "Momometal" (cori di background, danza), il cui sound unico mescola kawaii metal, metal, alternative metal, J-pop e J-rock. La Kami Band fornisce supporto strumentale per le loro vocali. Inizialmente una sottounità di Sakura Gakuin, Babymetal è diventata un atto indipendente nel 2013 dopo la graduazione di Nakamoto. Dopo aver eseguito diverse tournée, il gruppo ha eseguito estesamente in Europa e nelle Americhe. Hanno pubblicato cinque album studio: Babymetal (2014), Metal Resistance (2016), Metal Galaxy (2019), The Other One (2023) e Metal Forth (2025).
