A Babymetal é uma banda japonesa de metal kawaii formada em Tóquio em 2010. Constituída por Suzuka Nakamoto como "Su-metal" (vocalista, dançarina), Moa Kikuchi como "Moametal" (vocalista de apoio, dançarina) e Momoko Okazaki como "Momometal" (vocalista de apoio, dançarina), a banda é produzida pelo Kobametal da Amuse Inc. Seu som único mistura metal kawaii, metal, alternative metal, J-pop e J-rock. A Kami Band fornece backing instrumental para suas vozes. Inicialmente um sub-unidade de Sakura Gakuin, a Babymetal se tornou ato independente em 2013 após a graduação de Nakamoto. Com vários turnês sob seu cinto, a banda realizou performances extensivas na Europa e nas Américas. Eles já lançaram cinco álbuns de estúdio: Babymetal (2014), Metal Resistance (2016), Metal Galaxy (2019), The Other One (2023) e Metal Forth (2025).
