Bad Gyal is a Spanish singer-songwriter born Alba Farelo i Solé on March 7, 1997. With her music career spanning over two decades, she first gained recognition in 2016 with an interpretation of Rihanna's "Work" in the Catalan language. As an independent artist, Bad Gyal released records like "Jacaranda" and "Fiebre", as well as mixtapes Slow Wine (2016) and Worldwide Angel (2018), solidifying her presence within Spain's urban music scene. In 2019, she signed with Interscope Records and Aftercluv, achieving mainstream success with singles "Santa María", "Zorra", and "Alocao", which topped the charts in Spain that year. Her debut album, La joia, was released in 2024, marking a significant milestone in her career.
