Fito & Fitipaldis is a Spanish rock band formed in 1998 by vocalist and guitarist Fito Cabrales. Emerging as a side project after the breakup of his previous band Platero y Tú, the group was created to showcase songs that didn't fit the style of Platero y Tú. With a unique sound blending genres like rock, soul, and swing, Fito & Fitipaldis has built a significant following in Spain. The band's commercial success led to them receiving a Diamond Disc award for selling over one million albums in October 2007. By 2014, their sales had surpassed 1,600,000 discs, solidifying their status as a prominent force in Spanish rock music.
