Jinjer is a Ukrainian progressive metal band formed in Donetsk, Ukraine in 2008. The group's sound is characterized by its blend of groove metal, metalcore, and djent elements. After Tatiana Shmayluk joined as lead vocalist in 2009, the lineup solidified to include Roman Ibramkhalilov on guitar, Eugene Abdukhanov on bass, and Vladislav Ulasevich on drums. Throughout its journey, Jinjer has undergone some lineup changes. Max Fatullaev served as the original vocalist from 2008 to 2009, while Vyacheslav Okhrimenko held down drum duties from 2008 to 2011, Oleksiy Svynar played bass from 2008 to 2011, Dmitriy Oksen contributed rhythm guitar from 2008 to 2015, and Oleksandr Koziychuk and Yevhen Mantulin briefly filled in on drums before Dmitriy Kim took over the role from 2014 to 2016.
