Little Simz is a British rapper and actress born Simbiatu "Simbi" Abisola Abiola Ajikawo on February 23, 1994. With a career spanning over two decades, she has made a significant impact in the music industry. Her debut albums, A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons (2015), Stillness in Wonderland (2016), and Grey Area (2019), gained her recognition and critical acclaim. The latter earned her several prestigious awards, including the Ivor Novello Awards and Nme Awards for Best Album. Her subsequent releases, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert (2021) and No Thank You (2022), received widespread acclaim, with the former winning the Mercury Prize and earning her Brit Award for Best New Artist and Libera Award for Best Hip-Hop/Rap Record. Her sixth studio album, Lotus, was released in 2025. Outside of music, Ajikawo has also ventured into acting, starring in Netflix's Top Boy and appearing as herself in Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021).
