Muse

Muse

Muse is an English rock band from Teignmouth, Devon, formed in 1994. The trio consists of Matthew Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards, piano), Christopher Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Dominic Howard (drums, backing vocals). Dan Lancaster has joined the group on live stage since 2022 for additional instruments and vocals. Signed to Maverick Records, Muse released their debut album, Showbiz, in 1999, showcasing Bellamy's falsetto and a melancholic alternative rock style. Their subsequent albums, Origin of Symmetry (2001), Absolution (2003), Black Holes & Revelations (2006), The Resistance (2009), The 2nd Law (2012), Drones (2015), and Simulation Theory (2018) have explored a range of genres, including progressive rock and symphonic rock, earning them a reputation for energetic live performances and widespread international success.
