The Offspring is an American punk rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Originally known as Manic Subsidal, the group began performing under that name in 1984 with Bryan Holland on vocals and guitar, Greg Kriesel on bass and vocals, and James Frederick Lilja on drums. In 1986, they changed their name to The Offspring. With a career spanning over three decades, the band has undergone several lineup changes, with current members including Bryan "Dexter" Holland on vocals and guitar, Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman on guitar and vocals, Todd Morse on bass, and Brandon Pertzborn on drums. Past members include Gregory "Greg K" Kriesel on bass and vocals (1984-2018), James Lilja on drums (1984-1987), Ron Welty on drums and vocals (1987-2003), Adam "Atom" Willard on drums (2003-2007), and Pete Parada on drums (2007-2021). Over the years, The Offspring has released music through Nemesis Records, Epitaph, and Columbia Records, earning a reputation as one of the most iconic punk rock bands of all time.
